OC CONTEST - ENTRY 39: winter chills 'entry' by ~transformerskirby
9: Winter Chills
The stitchpunks had never experience snow or cold weather. "What's this white stuff?" 99 asked for the 20th time. "The twins said the humans called it snow." 7 answered for the 20th time. "Okay." 99 said broadly. "I wonder if it's cold." 99 said looking at the snow. "Touch it then you'll find out." said 7 looking at the snow. "Okay." said 99 as she touched the snow and jumped back 2 inches. "Is it cold?" asked 7 looking at 99. "You tell me." 99 said as she grabbed a hand full and throw it at 7. "HEY!" 7 said whipping the snow off her face. While, 99 was on the floor laughing.
Soon the others came to see what 7 and 99 were doing. "What the heck are you two doing?" asked 2 looking at them. "Playing with the snow." 99 said, will giggled. "Okay, but why?" asked 5 looking at them. "Because it's fun especially when you throw it others." giggled 99. "Are two done giggling and playing? Because there's more
OC CONTEST - ENTRY 2Christmas Spirit by ~Sorinchako
"I still do not approve of this Christmas 'Santa Secret' thing," 1 grumbled as he lifted a slip of paper from the box in front of the group.
"It's a Secret Santa, 1. And I think it is a marvelous idea!" 2's laughter from behind the eldest doll rumbled through the large throne room. Everything seemed to echo now that the others had patched the holes in the roof in preparation for the coming cold a few months earlier.
Of course, that didn't stop the cold from seeping in from the other places in the cathedral, making 1 shiver now that his cape had been lost in an attack by a Cat Beast. Which he still blamed 9 for, and the youngest STILL owed him a new cape.
1 kept his back to the other stitchpunk as he unfolded the piece of paper. Scribbled on it haphazardly was the number 2. Groaning in annoyance, 1 turned to glare at the slightly younger but still ol
OC CONTEST - ENTRY 19-Christmas by ~Snow22
6 was humming happily despite seeing the clouds so gray outside. Winter had come so quickly to all the stitchpunks, the life had almost been completely sucked dry from the gardens 0 tended to daily. All that was left was a lone pine tree, standing tall and green against the chill from Mother Nature. She climbed up the steps to his room on the top floor of the Library and smiled at his drawings. They were not of the Source but of stars and angels. These new images were vivid and happy, making the elder beam with joy. And the one he was working on made her lean over to examine.
She took the paper into her own hands and stared at it slightly, "What is this son?"
"A Christmas tree " He whispered, pointing at its triangle design. A rectangle was drawn for the stump and a small angel upon the tip. Lights adorned the nonexistent branches with little lines around them signaling they were blinking.
0 stared into the garden below, watching as light snow beg
NON-OC CONTEST - ENTRY 6Nine Reindeer, Nine Stitchpunk by ~Sycophantism
Death was around them. They always knew that, and they would never forget. It was in everything, the memories of what had been, and what had ended. In the buildings, broken and felled by the apocalypse, standing like tall, ominous trees all around them, threatening to collapse at any moment. In the remains of the humans, the shattered bones and the flesh that still clung weakly to their decaying skeletons. And most of all, in the frames of the Beasts that had wandered on the land shared with the stitchpunks, bent and snapped from their battles and inevitable defeats.
That wasn't what shocked them, though, when they looked around. Even if most of the calendars didn't go that far, if one had been glanced at, it would decree this day as the 17th of December, 2012. The death, the horror, the holocaust were all things that they were used to. They saw it every day where they lived, where they lived and slept where they built and where
NON-OC CONTEST - ENTRY 5Fan fiction- Start Anew by ~Mokyn
Start Anew- Fan Fiction for "9"
This is a part of a holiday contest, please excuse me for the mass amount of fluff. Also, as a note, I like the thought of 3 being a girl since 4 always seems to hide behind him/her, and the thought of older sister/younger brother relationships seems sweeter to me.
Seven woke to hands shaking her shoulders and Nine whispering anxiously, "Seven. Seven, wake up."
She bolted up, nearly hitting Nine in the face, he was so close to her. "What is is?" Her hearing sensors were already straining to pick up sounds of a beast or any other potential threat, but she heard nothing. Everything was eerily quiet.
She looked to Nine, who only said, "I think I've gone blind."
Seven restrained herself from laughing at the terror in his voice. "Don't worry, I see it too," she assured him.
Everything around them was covered in white, and she could see Three and Four running around, drawing in the stuff with a piece of wood. The rot
